Rather than cancel the 10th anniversary of the Taste of Port Orchard, we are going to try something a little different.  Over the Labor Day Weekend, Friday, September 4, Saturday, September 5, Sunday, September 6 and Monday, September 7, 2020, we are going to let you find our great local South Kitsap restaurants.  COVID 19 won the Darryl Award this year – and for those who don’t know, the Darryl Award is named for the late founder of the Taste of Port Orchard Event. Darryl Baldwin was the owner of Moondogs Too restaurant and was a beloved member of our Port Orchard community. This award is given annually at the Taste of Port Orchard to the People’s Choice restaurant/caterer. Last year’s winner was La Palapa Mexican Grill.

For our DIY event, we encourage you to enjoy your favorite South Kitsap eatery or try a new one over the Labor Day Weekend.  We are updating our list of eateries to get you started.  Post a selfie using #TasteofPOselfie on the POBSA Facebook page or Instagram and be entered to win prizes.  Check out the POBSA Facebook page for more information.

And remember to #shopsmall in #downtownPortOrchard.  #Maskup and #StaySafe.
