Hello, I’m Sam!

A little about me… I was born in a small town in Arizona and moved to PO when I was three months old.

I graduated from SKHS in 1996 and dabbled in a few different career paths from a florist, postal carrier, photographer, and my favorite, working with youth with mental health needs. I stumbled across being a business owner. I love people but never thought I would own my own business. 

I married the love of my life, Josh, in 2008 and we welcomed our miracle baby, Presley in 2011 (I’m a HUGE Elvis fan….so Presley it is!).

I opened Josephine’s in 2013 in Annapolis in a tiny 500 square foot area in an old building built over the water. In 2018 we moved Jo’s to downtown Port Orchard in the old Rio’s Skate Castle Building. In 2021 we opened Revival across the street and in 2022 we opened The Mercantile Coffee Co inside Jo’s. 

I love Port Orchard and all it has to offer. It is home for me and my family and I believe in, not only the endless potential of our community but also the amazing community members that make it come alive.
