Hello, I’m jacob!

I originally hail from Upstate, NY. I moved here in 2007 to be closer to my wife’s family. My background is in youth ministry and concert promotion. I was the Middle School Youth Director at Central Baptist Church in University Place, WA, then moved to Kitsap County to become the first-ever Youth Drop-in Center employee of The Coffee Oasis.

I work directly with youth 13 - 25 years of age. I have since become The Coffee Oasis Port Orchard Youth Programs Manager leading a team of employees and am currently one of the longest-standing employees -celebrating 15 years this summer!

I have enjoyed my work at The Coffee Oasis because it allows me to work with youth and also exercise a ton of creativity in encouraging and inspiring young people. 

I love spending time with my wife and four children and am a cigar connoisseur. My main hobbies are cooking, reading, traveling, and watching sports. 

What I love most about Port Orchard is how community members support one another.
